Javiera Schiappacasse
Javiera Schiappacasso is Head of Asset Allocation at AFP Cuprum, a Chilean Pension Fund Manager with US$35 bn in AUM. She joined the team in 2016, and since then has had different job positions such as Portfolio Manager for Emerging Equities and Local Government Bonds.
In her current role, Javiera is responsible of proposing to the Asset Allocation Comitee the funds’ tactical asset allocation strategy as well as portfolio construction for the long term. She’s also focused on monitoring portfolio risks and strategy implementation.
Before joining Cuprum she worked as an analyst for the Wealth Management Team at EuroAmerica, an Insurance Chilean company.
She studied Business Administration and a MS in Economics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
