Rebecca L. Rakoski is the co-founder and managing partner at XPAN Law Partners LLC, a boutique cybersecurity and data privacy law firm. Rebecca reviews and analyzes her clients’ legal obligations and works to create tailored cybersecurity and data privacy programs. Rebecca also acts as outside fractional privacy and cybersecurity counsel by advising her clients on a number of proactive, multi-jurisdictional approaches to data privacy and security legal issues. She helps her clients identify and address data privacy and cybersecurity compliance gaps and any corresponding legal liabilities.
As a recognized thought leader in the area of data privacy and cybersecurity law, Rebecca serves on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Cyber Task Force. Likewise, Rebecca is Vice-Chair Elect for the New Jersey State Bar Association's Bankruptcy Law Section.
